The cheapest way to get from Savannah Airport to Downtown is by bus, but it’s not the fastest way. That also means you’ll have to either walk or take a cab to complete your journey to your hotel.

The travel time from Savannah Airport to Downtown is 20-25 minutes. If you’re taking a taxi to Downtown Savannah or the Historic District, the taxi fare will be $28 as a flat fee. Curiously, there’s an additional $5 fee per person if there’s more than one passenger.

If you’re traveling beyond Downtown, different fares apply. For example, if you’re going from Savannah Airport to Hutchinson Island, you’ll pay $34. The ride to Southside Savannah will cost $36 and to Skidaway Island, $61.

Savannah Airport Bus

Savannah Airport Bus 100X is currently suspended.

Operated by Chatham Area Transit (CAT) the 100X bus connects Savannah Airport to Downtown and the Historic District. It stops at the Downtown bus station, the Joe Murray Rivers, Jr Intermodal Transit Center.

The Savannah Airport bus costs $5 one way per person.

Please note that there’s another bus service, Route 3, which passes by the airport but does not stop at the terminal, so it’s not to be considered a Savannah Airport bus.
