Norfolk Arms is the perfect pub for those who think that tasty food doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. It’s a very nice gastropub with a fantastic menu.

The options on the menu is a refreshing change from the classic pub dishes, with Mediterranean influences that go from tapas to seafood. One of the options, for instance, is fish soup with saffron, fennel, cod, salmon and mussels. To make it even better, portions are very generous!

If you are a vegetarian, for example, how about trying the beet tagliatelle with broccoli, chard, goat’s cheese and nuts? Even if you’re not a veggie, I bet you ticks your fancy, right?

If you’re going with another person, a good way to try several dishes is to choose the tapas menu and share a little bit of everything – that is, if you’re the kind of person who shares food, different from me. 🙂

Now, if you want to be even more different and you are not in the mood for classic London beer, the wine list is quite something and harmonisation is guaranteed regardless of the dish you choose. Wine by the glass starts at an incredible £2.90 and options range from Spanish Rioja to South African Pinotage. But if sparkling wine is more your scene, you can choose from cava to Veuve Clicquot.
